What you’ll do:

  • Engaging in system design and modeling activities
  • Providing assistance in chip qualification and product engineering tasks
  • Performing verification and design optimization across multiple platforms, including MATLAB, C, RTL, and physical chip implementations
  • Undertaking the characterization of diverse circuits, algorithms, and overall chip performance under a range of influencing factors
  • Conducting thorough debugging of functional and performance-related issues within the chip

What you’ll need:

  • Eligibility for the position requires candidates to hold a Masters or PhD degree in disciplines like Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering.
  • Relevant commercial experience.
  • A demonstrable passion for and previous engagement with subjects such as Digital Communications, Digital Signal Processing, Analog Circuits, Mathematics, Digital Signal Processors/General Microprocessors, and Computer/Mobile Networks is valued.
  • Proficiency in the realm of wireless and communication systems, including Modulation and Demodulation techniques, Channel Equalization, Digital Filters, and Coding Theory, is essential.
    Familiarity with revision control systems, specifically Git, is preferred, and competence in learning such systems is expected.
  • A solid grasp of programming languages/tools such as MATLAB, C, and Python is required.
    Experience with GNU/Linux development environments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Signal Generators, Analyzers, and general laboratory settings is anticipated.
    While not mandatory, familiarity with GNURadio, OFDM, and/or 802.11/Bluetooth/Cellular systems is considered highly advantageous.

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to Digital design languages like VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog
  • Competency in both Fixed- and Floating-point systems
