What you’ll do:
- Take full responsibility for your assigned software requirements, ensuring clarity and employing processes to refine and update them as needed.
- Collaborate with system requirements engineers and subject matter experts to extract and enhance software requirements from overall system requirements.
- Ensure completion and distribution of all requirements to relevant stakeholders while adhering to prescribed quality processes and agreed-upon standards.
- Contribute effectively within a professional cross-functional team environment to aid in the development of new products, spanning from prototype to production stages.
- Deliver highly dependable embedded software that meets automotive specifications, encompassing hardware components like battery management systems, motor drivers, body control units, and communication modules.
- Adhere to safety-critical software development procedures and draft software requirements tailored for safety-critical systems.
What you’ll need:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Electronics Engineering and/or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an automotive setting, focusing on safety requirements for ASIL rated systems and ISO 26262, diagnostic requirements for system diagnostics ISO 14229, generating supporting documents for software development and designing software architectures.
- Proficiency in developing requirements using Use Cases and/or Storytelling techniques.
- Demonstrate experience in constructing and managing traceability matrices.
- Showcase extensive expertise in quality planning and implementing quality gates for both products and processes.
- Solid understanding of the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), covering requirements, design, implementation, testing, and support phases.
- Mandatory experience with ASPICE, with highly regarded experience in IEC61508.
- Proficiency in utilizing the following tools, technologies, and systems (or equivalents): C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, Python, Vector Toolkit, V-Model Development
- Exhibit demonstrable project management skills (5+ years) within the automotive or related industries.
- Capable of being a pivotal member of a high-performing team.
