Electronics Engineer

Searching for an Electronics Engineer to contribute to a range of pioneering projects and products, from sensing to orbital atomic clocks, within these innovators' pipelines.


What you'll do:

  • Ensure effective application of electronics and systems engineering across all projects by:
  • Designing, laying out, and reviewing electronics boards.
  • Conducting design analyses, trade-off studies, and system performance calculations.
  • Establishing and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Participating in and preparing for design reviews.
  • Assisting in integrating and testing electronic systems.
  • Providing support and troubleshooting for electronics.
  • Involvement in all stages of the product development life cycle.
  • Assist with system integration and testing by:
  • Developing assembly and test plans, alongside test documentation.
  • Adhering to and improving configuration management and version control processes.
  • Work effectively and collaboratively as an active member of the engineering team by:
  • Contributing to project planning.
  • Guiding all aspects of electronic design.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronic Engineering).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant electronic design experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with electronic systems, particularly microwave and RF.
  • Hands-on experience in R&D and production engineering.
  • Previous industry experience in defense, space, and/or start-up product development organizations.
  • Familiarity with the product development lifecycle.
  • Understanding of defense project documentation requirements.
  • Knowledge of system engineering methods.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or have a PR visa.
  • Police check required.
