Searching for an Electronics Engineer to contribute to a range of pioneering projects and products, from sensing to orbital atomic clocks, within these innovators' pipelines.
What you'll do:
- Ensure effective application of electronics and systems engineering across all projects by:
- Designing, laying out, and reviewing electronics boards.
- Conducting design analyses, trade-off studies, and system performance calculations.
- Establishing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Participating in and preparing for design reviews.
- Assisting in integrating and testing electronic systems.
- Providing support and troubleshooting for electronics.
- Involvement in all stages of the product development life cycle.
- Assist with system integration and testing by:
- Developing assembly and test plans, alongside test documentation.
- Adhering to and improving configuration management and version control processes.
- Work effectively and collaboratively as an active member of the engineering team by:
- Contributing to project planning.
- Guiding all aspects of electronic design.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronic Engineering).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant electronic design experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with electronic systems, particularly microwave and RF.
- Hands-on experience in R&D and production engineering.
- Previous industry experience in defense, space, and/or start-up product development organizations.
- Familiarity with the product development lifecycle.
- Understanding of defense project documentation requirements.
- Knowledge of system engineering methods.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or have a PR visa.
- Police check required.
