Work in the software quality team, alongside software and product development groups, to improve our products and ensure they meet strict functional, performance and quality requirements. 

Professional Requirements:

• Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
• Australian citizen or Australian Resident status must exist at time of application.
• You will be creative, self-motivated and able to work to deadlines and schedules.
• You will have a demonstrated approach to documentation, clear thinking and problem solving.
• A background in Engineering or Computer Science is highly regarded.

What you'll do:

• Analysis of device, software and system requirements
• Preparation and execution of test plans and protocols
• Management of product defects and reporting on the status of these defects
• Preparation of test reports

Lead Firmware Engineer

What you'll need:
 At least 5 years of work experience in industrial electronics and firmware.
• Project lead or product development lead experience
 Experience developing safety-critical firmware for medical products would be highly regarded.
 Able to debug hardware PCBAs and write drivers for bare-metal microcontroller systems.
 Exposure to a wide range of hardware interfaces and communication protocols desirable.
 Experienced in writing clean code in C for embedded devices.
 Knowledge of Microchip PIC32 processors is desirable.
 Excellent communication and documentation skills.
 You will be creative, self-motivated, and able to work to deadlines and schedules.

Embedded Linux Engineer

Looking for your next move to work on medical devices touching the lives of millions?

What you'll need:

Specialize in Yocto-based Operating Systems on embedded architecture platforms (ARM). 
Develop and maintain bootloaders, device drivers, applications, and bring up Board Support Packages.
Prepare software development budgets and project plans including ability to make cost projections, cost-benefit analyses, monitor and report progress.
Manage and lead the engagement of technical discussions with vendor technical support teams 
Develop firmware solutions on microprocessor architectures (Microchip)
Participate in team software review meetings providing software status reports and updates as required.
Compliant to ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 and ISO 14971 
Documentation including test reports, procedures, design specifications, flowcharts and architecture drawings.
