Deliver Projects That Power Communities. Lead with Precision and Purpose.

What if every project you managed didn’t just finish on time - but left a lasting mark on how communities are powered and connected?

You'll join a company that projects aren’t just schedules and spreadsheets - they’re opportunities to build better systems, safer sites, and smarter infrastructure.

As Project Manager, you’ll be at the centre of it all - coordinating people, timelines, and technology to deliver electrical projects that meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

This is your chance to take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, work with high-performing engineering teams, and see the direct impact of your leadership on projects that keep Victoria moving.

This Role Gives You the Chance To:

• Manage full project lifecycles - from planning and procurement to delivery and completion.
• Be the central link between engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment and accountability.

• Strengthen stakeholder relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving.
• Identify risks, streamline delivery processes, and implement best practices that raise the bar for project excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Develop detailed project plans and schedules to achieve project goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, reports, and documentation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, ensuring clarity and collaboration.
• Monitor project budgets and resources to keep delivery on time and within scope.
• Communicate proactively to resolve issues impacting Statements of Compliance (SOC) and Practical Completion Notices (PCN).
• Conduct regular reviews to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage escalations.
• Ensure all activities meet OH&S, regulatory, and company safety standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve processes and outcomes.

What You Bring

Qualification in Project Management (PMC/PM2 desirable).
Minimum 2 years’ experience managing electrical or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of Victorian electrical industry standards and SOC/PCN processes (desirable).
• Familiarity with construction contracts and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to organise, prioritise, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you keep everyone informed and on track.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and a hands-on approach to delivery.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Wrike.
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.

Why This Role Matters:

You’ll be part of a high-performing team delivering essential electrical infrastructure across Victoria - projects that connect, empower, and future-proof communities.
This role is ideal for a detail-driven project professional ready to take ownership, influence outcomes, and grow into larger, more complex projects.

If you’re looking for a role where your organisational skills and technical understanding make a measurable impact - we’d love to hear from you.

Senior Engineering Project Manager

Job Location: Adelaide, SA

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineering Project Manager to take ownership of major engineering and manufacturing projects while also managing a portfolio of smaller ones. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll run the full project lifecycle from planning and fabrication through to installation and handover. Success means delivering on quality, safety, budget, and timelines every single time.

This position has opened because our existing team, while technically strong, cannot dedicate the focus required for detailed scheduling and delivery. We need someone who thrives on structure, accountability, and results. If you bring both deep project management expertise and a mechanical engineering background, this is your chance to step into a role where you’ll make an immediate impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the delivery of two large ongoing projects while keeping multiple smaller ones moving forward at the same time, often ten or more in total.

Create, update, and manage project schedules using MS Project as your central tool, producing clear Gantt charts and progress reports.

Keep projects on track by identifying risks early, resolving bottlenecks quickly, and ensuring milestones are met.

Coordinate and motivate a team of up to twelve people, including engineers, drafting specialists, junior project managers, process engineers, a workshop manager, and workshop staff.

Use your mechanical engineering expertise to oversee assemblies and sub-assemblies, making sure manufacturing processes run smoothly.

Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and contractors while ensuring safety, compliance, and quality are never compromised.

Take ownership of budgets, monitor costs, forecast resources, and deliver projects on time and on budget.

Start with a structured orientation to learn our technology and workflows, then hit the ground running with full ownership of outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

At least ten years of experience in project management and mechanical engineering across industrial, manufacturing, or clean-technology sectors.

Deep experience with MS Project, using it for scheduling, reporting, and program management.

Proven ability to deliver large engineering or manufacturing projects while managing multiple concurrent streams of work.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence, push back when necessary, and keep momentum across teams and suppliers.

High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage priorities under pressure.

Solid understanding of safety, environmental, and quality standards in industrial settings.

What’s On Offer

The chance to lead high-impact projects that shape the future of advanced engineering and manufacturing.

A role with real ownership and influence over decision-making.

Work with a collaborative, highly skilled engineering team in a supportive environment where your expertise is valued.

Opportunities for growth and to build a long-term career in a company that is investing in innovation and delivery excellence.

Ready to Apply?

If you are an experienced Project Manager with a strong mechanical engineering background and the drive to deliver complex, high-value projects, we want to hear from you.

Apply today and take the next step in leading cutting-edge engineering projects.
