What you’ll do:
• Foster innovation by generating novel ideas.
• Convert optical requirements into practical functional models.
• Develop optical prototypes to test and refine concepts.
• Undertake in-depth research to solve complex optical challenges.
• Utilize optical modeling to validate experimental results.
• Design processes integral to optics within WSS manufacturing.
• Devise experiments to address manufacturing issues, enhancing yields, throughput, and reliability.
• Formulate comprehensive component specifications and manage component sourcing.
• Provide essential support throughout the product realization process.
What you'll need:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics (PhD will be exceptionally valued).
• Proficiency in designing, constructing, and analyzing optical systems.
• Familiarity with conventional test and measurement tools
• Comprehensive grasp of optical principles essential for assembling opto-electronic devices, including optical loss, PMD, PDL, etc.
