Position Overview:

As a Project Engineer – R&D, you will spearhead the development and testing of IoT devices, manage project timelines, and help shape the strategic direction of our product line. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products from concept to market, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards.

What you’ll do:

• Design and develop firmware for innovative IoT products.
• Lead the prototyping and field testing of solutions in challenging environments.
• Collaborate closely with technology partners to develop advanced wireless solutions.
• Create and manage detailed project plans, ensuring timelines and progress are on track.
• Coordinate team meetings and maintain clear, effective communication with customers during trials.
• Document all R&D activities and provide regular progress updates to management.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, particularly in hazardous environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage laboratory operations to ensure efficiency and innovation.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in firmware development for IoT products.
• Expertise in programming with the Espressif Integrated Framework (ESP-IDF).
• Strong knowledge of wireless communication technologies, including DSRC, UWB, and LoRa.
• Proficient in using PlatformIO and Eclipse IDE for development.
• Experienced in project management, including planning, execution, and timeline management.
• Capable of conducting field testing in demanding underground environments.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to coordinate teams effectively.
• Valid driver’s license.
