What you’ll do:

• Develop and implement growth strategies to introduce innovative digital solutions, tailored to customers' needs using your specialized market knowledge.
• Achieve profit targets by driving orders, sales, pricing, profitability, and market expansion.
• Identify and pursue business opportunities, fostering relationships with integrators, distributors, resellers, and customers to meet growth objectives.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline with regular updates in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with Technology, Support, and Marketing teams to successfully launch new products.
• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver training, presentations, and knowledge transfer sessions on our digital solutions.
• Drive revenue growth through strategic initiatives and sales processes.
• Sustain strong client relationships to provide outstanding solutions.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, encouraging professional growth.
• Travel within NSW, interstate, and internationally as needed.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales management, ideally in the high-tech sector.
• Strong techno-commercial skills with a proven track record in business development, a keen learning aptitude, and enthusiasm.
• "Sales-driven mentality" to identify and generate new business opportunities.
• Knowledge of the METS sector and mining customer requirements; understanding of underground mining is a plus.
• Experience in technology solutions-based organizations, with insights into software and hardware sales models.
• Familiarity with WiFi, BLE, LoRa, UWB, and LTE technologies is highly regarded.
• Excellent presentation, written, and pitching skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
• Current driver's license and passport.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
• Experience in managing a sales team, driving performance through coaching and mentorship.
• Familiarity with the mining or manufacturing industries and established networks within these sectors is advantageous.
• International experience is highly valued.
