What you’ll do:
• Foster a quality-focused culture emphasizing continuous improvement.
• Implement V-Model verification and validation strategies for documenting and tracing software testing in industrial automation controls.
• Utilize industry standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Design and execute test cases for software testing.
• Develop processes and procedures for automating test cases in CI/CD pipelines, including regression testing and continuous testing.
What you’ll need:
• Possesses significant experience in PLC and HMI programming.
• Familiarity with various controllers and SCADA systems (IFM, CODESYS, Siemens, Ignition highly regarded).
• Experienced in testing industrial automation software and controllers, preferably for industrial applications.
• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in Control Systems Engineering or a similar role.
• Proficient in industrial and automotive communication protocols (CAN, J1939, Profinet, Profibus, UDP, Modbus TCP).
• Experienced in configuring VVVF drives or DC-DC converters.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and in multidiscipline teams.
• Familiarity with V-Model development is highly advantageous.
• Understanding of the full software development life cycle, including documentation, requirements, testing, deployment, and traceability, is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with software version control systems such as Git or SVN is advantageous.
• Process and instrumentation experience is highly regarded.
• Experience with Functional Safety delivery is highly regarded.
