What you'll do:

• Bridge the Gap: Define and own the link between charging communication standards (ISO 15118-2/-20, DIN 70121, GBT 27930, Chademo) and core charging system requirements.
• Single Point of Contact: Act as the go-to person for all stakeholders on charging communications supporting the charging systems.
• Lead and Deliver: Spearhead end-to-end delivery and define test cases for large-scale charging communications.
• Define Requirements: Own and articulate all relevant requirements and system artifacts pertinent to charging communications.
• Support & Review: Aid the team in design reviews, FMEAs, and problem-solving activities related to charging communications.
• Network Definition: Lead network definition and approval, cascade requirements, and system artifacts to downstream stakeholders, and support review and approval post-cascade.
• Collaborate: Work closely with in-house software teams, suppliers, and downstream stakeholder squads to facilitate vehicle-level delivery of charging communications.

What you'll need:

• Expertise in EV Charging Protocols: Extensive experience with EV charging protocols and standards, specifically ISO 15118-20.
• Proficiency with OCPP, MCS, and CCS: In-depth knowledge and experience with Open Charge Point Protocol, Megawatt Charging System, and Combined Charging System.
• Demonstrated Delivery Experience: Proven track record of working with and delivering charging communication standards.
• Feature Delivery Know-How: Familiarity with feature delivery processes and relevant toolsets.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Ability to coordinate and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
• Conceptualization Skills: Skill in translating charging standards into use cases and system behaviors.
• System Engineering Principles: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with system engineering principles.
• Agile Presentation Skills: Expertise in presenting work at Agile ceremonies and technical review forums.
• Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and senior stakeholders.
