What you’ll do:
• Collaborate with software teams in Hungary and Australia, alongside the Lead Software Engineer and internal stakeholders, to analyze, document, coordinate, and oversee requirements for new software projects aimed at achieving business goals.
• Start with system requirements, collaborating with systems requirements engineers and subject matter experts to extract and refine software requirements for implementation by the software development team.
• Take responsibility for your software requirements, ensuring they are clear and follow established processes for refinement and updates. These requirements will be utilized and tracked during design, implementation, and testing phases, adhering to quality standards and processes.
• Work within a professional cross-functional team environment to contribute to the development of new products, spanning from prototypes to production.
• Adhere to safety-critical software development processes and formulate software requirements for systems with critical safety implications.
• Deliver highly dependable embedded software tailored for automotive-specific hardware, encompassing tasks such as battery management systems, motor drivers, body control, and communication modules.
What you’ll need:
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in automotive and/or robotics industries, specializing in software requirements development and quality engineering.
• Proficiency in Use Cases and/or Storytelling for crafting requirements.
• Expertise in constructing and managing traceability matrices.
• Extensive background in devising quality plans and implementing quality gates for both product and process improvements.
• Strong grasp of the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), covering requirements, design, implementation, testing, and support.
• Mandatory experience with ASPICE/CMMI and exposure to ISO26262, with desirable familiarity with ISO14229 and IEC61508.
• Highly regarded experience with tools like Siemens Polarian, IBM DOORS, PTC Integrity, or equivalent.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication.
