We’re looking for a Presales Engineer to join a high-performing team that’s redefining what’s possible in the energy storage space. You'll play a key role in turning complex systems into real-world solutions that work - for both customers and the business.

What you’ll do:
• Create and maintain technical documentation for supported system configurations, including SLDs, design guides, and application notes.
• Lead design reviews and provide pre-sales technical support for custom installation inquiries from the Sales team.
• Analyze product configurations' profitability by reviewing sales data and technical support costs, using insights to drive effective sales strategies.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure alignment between sales strategies, supported installation offerings, and technical support capacity.
• Develop new energy storage system applications, such as residential setups and VPP solutions.
• Work with the Sales team to assess market demand and customer satisfaction, offering feedback to the Engineering team for product improvements.
• Conduct independent market research on ESS storage solutions to guide the Product Engineering team in launching new product lines.
• Regularly assess the fleet health of supported configurations, identifying gaps in technical support and collaborating with Product Engineering to address them.
What you’ll need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Product Support, Technical Services, or Sales Engineering roles, with proven experience working alongside engineering and sales teams.
• Strong expertise in residential solar inverters, including grid-tied and hybrid topologies, as well as the technical support requirements for solar configurations.
• Thorough understanding of residential battery products, their installation configurations, and the necessary technical support requirements.
