As Group Manager - Compliance, you’ll oversee project delivery across multiple teams - ensuring Statements of Compliance (SOC) and Practical Completion Notices (PCN) are achieved on time, within budget, and to the standards clients and regulators expect.
This Role Gives You the Chance To:
• Take ownership of compliance leadership across multiple high-value electrical and NBN projects.
• Drive best practice in safety, quality, and performance - influencing how compliance is managed business-wide.
• Mentor and empower project, design, and delivery teams to achieve consistent, high-quality outcomes.
• Strengthen relationships with developers, contractors, councils, and utilities - ensuring smooth project approvals and delivery.
• Contribute to strategy and growth initiatives that position the company as a trusted compliance leader in Victoria.
What You’ll Do:
• Oversee compliance activities, ensuring adherence to OH&S, network standards, and company policies.
• Lead site audits, risk assessments, and on-site resolution meetings to maintain safety and project integrity.
• Manage project planning, resource allocation, and delivery milestones (SOC and PCN).
• Conduct team meetings and one-on-ones to drive accountability and development.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders to resolve project or compliance issues.
• Prepare budget forecasts, monitor spend, and maintain cost control across multiple projects.
• Create and maintain a database of network standards and provide technical guidance.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage escalations effectively.
• Collaborate with leadership on forward planning, systems improvement, and strategic growth.
What You Bring:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management (desirable).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical project management, auditing, and drafting.
• Proven success delivering SOC and PCN outcomes within Victorian network standards.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams and project portfolios.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, safety protocols, and utility processes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
• Proficiency with CAD tools, utility design software, MS Office, and Wrike.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset - you anticipate challenges and drive outcomes.
