What you’ll need:

• 5+ years in leading photovoltaic inverter or energy storage companies, with bonus points for expertise in the lithium battery industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of key Australian standards, including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 5033, AS/NZS 4777, and AS/NZS 5139.
• Demonstrated success in managing presales activities, such as assessing customer needs, creating proposals, and delivering technical presentations, with a commitment to post-sales support and satisfaction.
• Deep understanding of trends and developments in solar and renewable energy, with knowledge of Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) as a strong plus.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, capable of translating technical details to diverse audiences. Proficiency in Chinese is a bonus.
• Strong organizational skills with expertise in process documentation, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.

You’ll design and deploy smart, safe, and efficient control solutions that keep operations running smoothly in real-world, high-temperature environments.

What You’ll Be Doing
 
  • Lead PLC/SCADA system design, development, and deployment across carbon conversion and energy recovery units.
  • Build smart control architectures with integrated sensors, safety interlocks, and thermal feedback systems.
  • Develop HMI interfaces and dashboards for real-time control, diagnostics, and tuning.
  • Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and remote monitoring of field systems.
  • Work closely with process engineers to align automation with thermal performance and yield goals.
What You Bring
 
  • 7+ years of industrial automation experience, ideally in clean energy or high-temperature systems.
