The Role

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll bridge the gap between technical expertise and commercial success. Partnering closely with a dedicated Account Manager, you’ll work with distributors, EPCs, and installers across Australia - providing tailored, engineering-led solutions for renewable energy projects.

Your role will focus on designing solutions, preparing technical proposals, and driving customer engagement to support business growth and project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Account Manager to achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Build and manage relationships with distributors, EPCs, and installation partners.
• Deliver technical support, solution design, and project quotations.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and client training sessions.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure project accuracy.
• Track opportunities through CRM systems and maintain up-to-date records.
• Support marketing and promotional activities including trade shows and webinars.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in solar, renewable energy, or related technical sales environments.
• Strong technical understanding of structural or system design principles.
• Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Technical solution design and system integration knowledge.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
• CRM proficiency and project management capability.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
