What You’ll Do
• Program Portfolio Leadership: Provide oversight and governance for multiple engineering programs, ensuring alignment to business priorities.
• Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and grow program managers, enabling them to deliver at scale.
• Strategic Alignment: Partner with executives, engineering, finance, and product leaders to translate strategy into actionable program roadmaps.
• Risk & Issue Management: Oversee risk management frameworks across programs, ensuring resilience and proactive mitigation.
• Resource & Capacity Planning: Direct allocation of people and resources across programs, balancing priorities and optimizing performance.
• Reporting & Governance: Establish portfolio-level reporting and provide clear visibility to executive leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
• Process Excellence: Lead continuous improvement of program management practices, ensuring consistency and scalability across the organization.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure that all programs meet global quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Need
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of program management experience, including leading large-scale, complex global projects.
• Leadership experience: able to inspire, coach, and develop senior program managers and cross-functional leaders.
• Proven track record of managing multiple program managers and their teams.
• Deep experience in technology or advanced engineering industries (mobility, automotive, aerospace, robotics, etc.).
• Strong background in Agile methodologies, Atlassian, and Siemens PLM tools.
• PMP or equivalent certification highly regarded.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance high-level vision with executional detail.
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging executive stakeholders and simplifying complexity.
