• Collaborate with global development teams and accredited test labs
• Influence future product releases with your feedback and analysis
• Be a key player in a product-led engineering culture

What You’ll Do:

• Lead end-to-end testing strategies, covering UAT, BVT, and regression across hardware and software systems
• Plan, manage, and execute both automated and manual testing, while overseeing defect tracking and reporting
• Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure aligned execution and seamless communication
• Drive requirement management and traceability across all testing phases
• Lead verification and validation of Energy Storage Systems, including test planning, scripting, and delivery
• Support product releases through quality assurance activities such as strategy reviews, coverage analysis, and stakeholder reporting
• Manage testing timelines, effort estimates, and test resource allocation
• Work closely with product teams to prepare environments and test data
• Conduct hands-on reliability testing at component and system level, including HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop)
• Analyze test data, communicate results, and work with design teams on resolving detected issues
• Contribute to the design-for-reliability approach and participate in early-stage product research and definition
• Play a key role in test planning and execution for ESS and PV inverter technology development

What You’ll Need:

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
• 5+ years of reliability and functional testing across embedded hardware/software platforms
• Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQE
• Experience with testing tools like LabView, Python, or other scripting languages
• Strong background in embedded systems, test automation, and defect analysis
• Ability to build and operate test rigs, perform hardware verification, and write documentation

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience with ESS, BMS, or inverter-based systems
• Understanding of Australian/international standards (IEC, AS/NZS, ISO, UL)
• Familiarity with high-voltage power systems and safety practices
• Experience with DFMEA, UX validation, or field failure analysis
• Knowledge of microcontroller-based systems (e.g., STM32, NXP) and low-level C/C++ testing
