About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Research & Development to drive the design, development, and optimization of power electronics and ESS solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a talented R&D team locally while collaborating with global engineering teams. Your leadership will shape the future of our technology, ensuring our products meet market demands, regulatory requirements, and emerging industry trends.

What You’ll Do:

• Spearhead R&D efforts in power electronics and ESS, overseeing product innovation and system architecture.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing R&D team focused on inverter and energy storage technology.
• Develop and refine R&D processes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our solutions.
• Work closely with product managers and R&D teams, both locally and internationally, to drive commercial and technical excellence.
• Stay ahead of evolving energy policies, standards, and emerging trends in renewable energy, power electronics, and Virtual Power Plants (VPPs).
• Ensure product designs align with market needs and customer expectations, contributing to presales, proposal development, and solution presentations.

What You’ll Need:

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of leadership experience in photovoltaic inverters or energy storage industries (experience with lithium battery technology is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of power electronics, energy storage systems, and industry regulations.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage teams effectively, foster innovation, and maintain high professional standards.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and process management skills.
