What you’ll do:

• Plan, develop, and execute acceptance, functional, integration, and regression testing to validate product performance across various platforms.
• Work closely with product requirements and specifications to craft test plans aligned with our overall testing strategy and quality objectives.
• Establish robust processes, systems, and methodologies to consistently deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.
• Conduct rigorous testing across cloud services, consumer electronics, mobile apps, and third-party interfaces, ensuring seamless performance and integration.
• Lead and execute testing activities including: User Acceptance, Integration, Regression, Performance, Interoperability.
• Identify, isolate, and communicate issues effectively, working closely with stakeholders to propose practical resolutions.
• Maintain a well-documented and prioritized defect log, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and thoroughly.
• Track testing milestones in alignment with the development plan, overseeing the process through to successful market release.
• Deliver clear and concise reports on testing progress, anomalies, risks, and any issues that arise, keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned.

What you’ll need:

• 4+ years of professional testing experience, with demonstrated expertise in validating iOS/Android apps, microservices, or firmware.
• Strong technical knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes, supported by relevant tertiary education.
• A proven track record in creating and managing comprehensive test deliverables, including test criteria, plans, cases, and detailed reporting.
• Prior experience in Agile-Scrum workflows, with a focus on collaboration, adaptability, and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement, thriving in Lean settings with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment at every stage.

Strongly Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of low-energy wireless technologies such as IoT, Wi-Fi, BLE, or Zigbee, and their implementation in connected devices.
• Experience working with consumer electronics products that seamlessly integrate cloud platforms, devices, and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in video and audio interface technologies, with a solid understanding of their practical applications.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and their role in innovative product development.
• Practical expertise in tools like JIRA, Confluence, TestFlight, Crashlytics, New Relic, Selenium, or LoadRunner.
