What you’ll do:
• Assist the Technical Support team by addressing engineering escalations.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis on company products to detect failure patterns, collaborating with the Product Engineering team to resolve issues and apply insights to future product designs.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for company products, providing guidance and answering questions from cross-functional teams.
• Capture product insights in a knowledge base and deliver training to the Technical Support team to ensure they are fully prepared.
• Build data analysis pipelines to automate the diagnosis and ticketing of known product issues. Create dashboards for Product Engineering and Technical Support to monitor fleet performance.
What you’ll need:
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical preferred), Mechanical, or a closely related discipline.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in roles like Service Engineer or Technical Support Engineer, with a deep understanding of energy storage systems and their technical support needs.
• Strong expertise in residential solar inverters (grid-tied and hybrid topologies), solar system configurations, and related support requirements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of residential battery products, installation methods, and corresponding support requirements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
